LUMiFrac® - accelerated adhesion testing

CAT-Technology

A New and Different Approach for Adhesion and Cohesion Testing

The LUMiFrac® revolutionizes (no pun intended) adhesion and cohesion testing by employing carefully controlled centrifugal forces in combination with an in-situ real-time adhesion cohesion failure detector.

You can also control and vary the rate at which the pull-off force is applied. Furthermore, you can measure how effects of repeated and varying force-loads as a function of time. This is done by applying a sinusoidal pull-off or shear force over any desired time frame.

Analyze up to 8 samples at a time and do so in a temperature-controlled environment. This means that you can quickly accumulate enough data for your results to be statistically relevant.

The design of the test stamps eliminates the need for any sample clamping. The sample holders ensure that only perpendicular (tensile) or parallel (shear) forces are applied to your test specimen.

The LUMiFrac® is operated and controlled via the Microsoft Windows-based SepView software.

Please see for yourself how the LUMiFrac® can give you new insights into understanding your material adhesion and cohesion properties.
